Where's Mr Lion? (Felt Flaps)I bought Where's Mr.Lion before, and my son is enjoy and have much fun from this book.So, I bought the same series (I supposed) like Where's the Giraffe, and Where's the dog..BUT, It's just a same book from Where's Mr Lion, but different cover..
An engaging and colorful book that will capture a little one’s imagination. The only thing that keeps it from being a five star book in my opinion is that most of the animals do not have obvious sound effects associated with them. Or at least not ones that daddy can easily do. (Crocodile? Elephant? Giraffe? Lion is the only easy one.)Still, my one year old demanded it be read again and again, so if you ask her:HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Unlike other board books with paper flaps, these felt flaps make is VERY easy for the smallest kiddos to "find" the animals beneath them. Brightly color soft felt makes for a great visual and tactile experience. Cute illustrations and it ends with a cute mirror that babies love. Great book for the earliest readers. Good shower gift!
I think this book is just as good as "where's the Hen", my daughter however, is still not as impressed. She does love the book. She is excited to hear it being read and play with the surprising durable felt, but I guess the books sibling has a softer place in her heart.
Recommend for smaller children, no real story line, just a peek a boo find the animal book. Beautiful felt and illustrations.
Sturdy book for the little ones in our family. The story is cute, too!
My son loves his book, he plays peek a boo with the animals and says the names of the animals before he opens the flaps and the squeals in delight when he is right. I love how bright and colorful the book is and it seems very well made.
The story is sweet and my kids love it. The felt flaps make it harder for my toddlers to destroy and the mirror at the end always brings smiles.
